Four Students Going To Write UP Board Exam Killed In Road Accident In Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur, February 27 (TNA) Four college going students were killed on Tuesday when the van they were going in to write the UP Board exam, went out of control after a tyre burst and turtled into a roadside ditch. The incident took place near Jaravan village of Kant police station area at around 7 in the morning with a van filled with students going to appear for the UP Board High School examination went out of control and overturned.

Of the four deceased, two were girl students. Six students have also been injured in the accident and they have since been shifted to the Government Medical College. Students of Barenda village of Kant study in Shri Dwarika Prasad Maharishi North Secondary School. Their UP Board exam center was Laturi Lal Inter College, Jaitipur. On Tuesday, 10 candidates of class 10th left for the examination in a van.

The dead have been identified as Mohini (16), Anurag (14), Pratishtha (15) and Anurag (16). The injured include Jyoti, Avneesh, Vipin, Mohan Gupta, Ravikant and Dhruv.
