Generator Car Of Shatabdi Express Catches Fire In Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, March 20 (TNA) Passengers onboard the Lucknow-bound Shatabdi Express had a providential escape on Saturday morning after the generator car of the train caught fire.

The incident happened when the super fast train was at the Ghaziabad railway station, ready to proceed for its onward journey to the Uttar Pradesh capital.

The fire was noticed on time and before the security and fire officials could respond giant flames were leaping out of the generator car. There was brief scare for the passengers but thankfully no damage or injuries have been reported. More details are awaited.
