Haryana Police Woman, Driver Killed In Road Accident On Yamuna Expressway

Lucknow, May 25 (TNA) A police woman and the driver of a vehicle were killed in a road mishap on the Yamuna Expressway on Thursday, police said. The accident took place near the Salarpur underpass on the Yamuna Expressway, when the car collided with the divider at a high speed and fell down in a roadside ditch on the expressway.

Sonepat police woman constable Babita and the driver of the ill-fated car died in the accident. Four policemen were returning from Chhattisgarh after recovering the missing teenager from Sonipat, Haryana when the accident happened around five o'clock in the morning.

Three other policemen were also injured in the accident and have been admitted to Kailash Hospital for treatment.
