Hathras Incident: Bhim Army Workers Dump Garbage Outside Vidhan Sabha Building In Lucknow
LUCKNOW || At a time the Uttar Pradesh police has clamped down on all kinds of protests and demonstrations in wake of the Hathras incident, the Lucknow police ended up with egg on its face as two workers of the Bhim Army dumped garbage in front of the Vidhan Sabha building in the state capital on Saturday.
As heavy security deployment had been made outside the sprawling buildings of the Vidhan Sabha and just opposite the Lok Bhawan, two youngsters driving on a scooter, stopped all of a sudden and began strewing the garbage they were carrying on the road and before any of the cops deployed there could react, they seemingly did their symbolic protest.
Police however soon overpowered them, took them away and prevented them from talking to the media present there. The Bhim Army district president Aniket Dhanuk said what wrong had they done, they were only trying to raise the issue of crimes against women. "You too have sisters at home, we want justice and protection from you", slogan-shouting workers told the Police who were more worried to take him away.
