Prayagraj, April 22 (TNA) In the case of the fake birth certificate of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan's son Mohammad Abdullah Azam Khan, a hearing was held at the Allahabad High Court (HC) on Monday. The hearing was done by the single bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh on the appeal of Azam Khan, Azam's wife Tanzeem Fatima and son Abdullah Azam.

Hearing will continue tomorrow also, in two date of birth cases. A special MP/MLA court in Rampur has sentenced all three, on the applications filed in appeal against the sentence. The Rampur MP/MLA Court has sentenced all three to seven years imprisonment in the case of making two birth certificates of Abdullah Azam.

The trio has now challenged the decision of Rampur Sessions Court rejecting the bail plea. They have filed a criminal revision petition in the Allahabad High Court to grant bail and cancel the sentence.
