Hearing On Shooters Of Atique-Ashraf Postponed Again, Charges To Be Now Framed On January 24
Prayagraj, January 9 (TNA) The hearing on of shooters Lovelesh, Sunny and Arun's case who are prime accused in the sensational murders of dreaded mafia don-turned-politician Atique Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. Now charges will be framed on January 24.
The hearing was postponed as the special court judge was in training. The hearing has been postponed for several dates. Sometimes the hearing had to be postponed due to lawyers asking for extension and sometimes due to some other reasons.
Atiq and Ashraf were shot in police custody at the gate of Colvin Hospital on April 15. The entire incident was captured on camera, from Atiq and Ashraf getting down from the police jeep till Sunny, Lovelesh and Arun were seated in the police car after the murder. The accused are lodged in Chitrakoot jail.
Earlier they were lodged in Pratapgarh jail. A few days ago, due to security reasons, he was shifted to Chitrakoot jail. All three have been kept in separate barracks. They are also being closely monitored.
