Hookah Bar Sealed In Lucknow For Violating Partial Curfew Rules, 16 Arrested

Lucknow, May 13 (TNA) The Lucknow police on Thursday clamped down on some young men as they were busy in a hookah party at a bar in the state capital's Hazratganj area. Due to lockdown such activity is not allowed hence many people found inside were booked and the hookah bar sealed.

The police reached Emperor Beef Cafe owned by a certain Mohd Faiz Siddiqui after a tip off on violation of the COVID protocol and partial lockdown rules.

When the police team reached the bar they found more than a dozen people gathered there. Two hookah's, pipes and other materials were confiscated and 16 people were arrested.

The arrested persons include Suraj, Salma, Faizan, Mohd Salman, Mohsin Kamal, Shadaab, Mohd Waqf, Usman. Their vehicles have also been seized and action has bene initiated as per norms under the present conditions, an official informed.
