Hundreds Turn Up To Celebrate And Remember Vishan Prakash At Prayer Meet
Lucknow, Dec 13 (TNA) Friends, well wishers, family members, acquaintances and book lovers from the city converged at a city hotel on Monday evening to pay tributes to Vishan Prakash, co-owner of the Universal Book Sellers, who passed away last week. With teary eyes and choked voice, his younger brother Chander Prakash and many others recalled their association with Vishan Prakash.
The mood was sombre as one after another, people from all walks of life - journalists, bureaucrats, police officers, politicians and Lucknow citizens poured out their hearts to “remember and celebrate” one of the most loved persons of the city.
The love and respect for the departed soul could be gauged by the fact that the ground where the prayer meet cum Bhajan Sandhya was organised was jam-packed and the road outside completely jammed, giving traffic cops a tough time.
