Illicit Affair Leads To Double Murder In Prayagraj

Prayagraj, June 27 (TNA) Two people were murdered in Prayagraj on Monday. The double-murder took place in Karchana area of ​​Yamunapar. Santosh, a resident of Dhari village, was strangled to death late on Sunday night. Rambabu, who was fleeing the crime scne, was caught by the villagers and thrashed fiercely. Seriously injured Rambabu died on Monday morning. This caused panic in the village. Police officers are reaching the spot and investigating.

It is said that Rambabu of the same village was having a love affair with the wife of Santosh, a resident of Dhari village of Karchana police station area. When Rambabu went to meet him on Sunday night, the husband saw him. Rambabu then strangled Santosh.

After that he started running away but hearing the commotion, the villagers caught Rambabu and thrashed him fiercely. He was taken to the CHC, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

SP Yamunapar Saurabh Dixit told that the matter of illegal relationship incident is coming to the fore. Based on the investigation and Tahrir, necessary action will be taken after registering a case. Santosh's wife and brother are being questioned.
