IndiGo Flight From Delhi To Deoghar Force Lands In Lucknow After Bomb Hoax, Caller Arrested In Hyderabad

Lucknow, February 20 (TNA) An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Deoghar was forced to make an emergency landing at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow on Monday after a bomb hoax. According to officials, the bomb threat was received in Hyderabad after which the information was passed on to concerned authorities.

The flight 6E-6191 was made to force land at the Lucknow airport after which all passengers were deboarded and all the luggage was offloaded and thoroughly frisked. After thorough investigation and a green signal from the security agencies, the flight was allowed to fly to Deoghar.

The information as it turned out later was false and was given to the airport authorities by a flyer from Hyderabad who after missing the flight made the hoax call. He was arrested from Hyderabad.
