Inter-State criminal Subhash Gujjar Injured In An Encounter With Police In Jalaun, Was Wanted In Both UP And MP

Jalaun, April 4 (TNA) A hardened criminal was injured in a police encounter in the wee hours of Tuesday, police said. The encounter happened in the Thana Kotwali Orai area between the inter-state criminal Subhash Gujjar alias Ratti and a joint team of SOG and Surveillance team.

Gujjar who carries a cash reward of Rs 50,000 on his head has sustained bullet injuries in his hand and leg. A looted mobike and illegal weapons have been recovered from the site of the encounter, a police official informed. The criminal also had a reward of Rs 10,000 has been declared by the Madhya Pradesh Police as well.

The gun battle took place near the Kanshi Ram Colony of Orai. Subhash is a resident of Gwalior in MP and there are about 32 cases of robbery, dacoity, murder and theft registered against his name in 12 police stations in UP and MP.
