Irked At Unending Domestic Dispute, Man Sets Wife, Mother-in-Law, Self On Fire In Noida

Noida, August 26 (TNA) Domestic stress took a tragic turn at a Noida household on Wednesday when a man set his wife and mother-in-law on fire and then torched himself, police said. The badly burnt tri has been rushed to the Safdarjung hospital in New Delhi for treatment.

The incident happened at the Hajipur village of sector 39, when angry at the constant nagging of his wife and mother-in-law, a

man, identified as Mohan Das, first doused them with kerosene, set them on fire and then did the same to himself too. There has been a lot of bickering between the husband and wife and they have also approached the court for separation where proceedings are underway.

Noida's Additional DCP Ranvijay Singh said that information of the incident was received on Wednesday morning. The police promptly reached the scene of crime and rushed All three have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi as their condition became more critical.
