Judge's Car Hit In UP, He Alleges It Was An Attempt To Kill Him

Kaushambi, July 30 (TNA) Close on the heels of the hit and run murder of a judge in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, which created uproar across the country, with even the Supreme Court (SC) to take note, vehicle of an additional district judge at Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh was hit by a speeding vehicle late on Thursday night.

The ADJ, Mohd Ahmad Khan, posted at Fatehpur in the Pocso Court, was hit by a speeding vehicle in the Chaakwan Bazaar at Kokhraj in Kaushambi, when he was going to Fatehpur from Prayagraj, police said. The unidentified vehicle then fled the scene of the crime after a brief altercation with his driver and gunner.

The ADJ has filed an FIR with the Kokhraj Police alleging attempt to murder. This was not a simple accident but an attempt to kill me, the judge said while alleging that when he was posted in Bareilly in 2020 and he had rejected a bail plea, after which he got threats to his life. The trip on the Innova car that hit the judge's car have been arrested and are bing interrogated.
