KDA Creates OSD Post For Widow Of Businessman Who Died During Police Raid In Gorakhpur

Kanpur, Sep 30 (TNA) Rattled by the outcry over the death of a Kanpur-based young business man Manish Gupta during a raid at a Gorakhpur hotel, the Uttar Pradesh government has unleashed a massive damage control exercise.

On Thursday evening, the government announced that a special post of an OSD will be created at the Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) and widow of the deceased, Meenakshi Gupta will be posted there.

The proposal for this came by the chief minister himself, an official informed while adding that Yogi Adityanath has taken a “very grim view of the incident”. Adityanath, who was lawmaker from Gorakhpur for a long time, has already ordered that after the probe against the accsued policemen is completed they should be sacked from service.
