Lakhimpur Kheri Incident: Ashish Mishra Does Not Turn Up At Crime Branch Despite Summon

Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 8 (TNA) Ashish Mishra, the son of union minister of state of home, Ajay Mishra, did not present himself before the Crime Branch aty 10 am as was desired. After being named in a FIR for the death of four farmers in the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday, Ashish Mishra ‘Mona’ was wanted for investigation.

The police had also posted a notice on the hosue of his father, asking him to be present before the Crime Branch.

However he chsoe not to come. According to the police, he is not at home also as it wore a deserted look. UP Police had on Thursday claimed that it was looking out for Ashish Mishra. Opposition aprties have however alleged that the ruling party is trying to protect him.
