Largest Sand Figure Of Lord Shri Ram Made in Ayodhya, CM Yogi Clicks Selfie
Ayodhya, January 22 (TNA) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inspected the sand sculpture of Lord Shri Ram carved by Padmashree Sudarshan Patnaik where he also took a selfie. This figure made of sand has been given the certificate of the largest sand sculpture of Lord Shri Ram by the World Records Book of India. CM Yogi presented this certificate to Shraddha Shukla, Director of State Lalit Kala Academy.
On the occasion of Ramotsav 2024, a sand craft art camp was organized by the State Lalit Kala Academy, Uttar Pradesh Culture Department. Renowned sand sculpture artist Padmashree Sudarshan Patnaik, resident of Puri, Odisha, had built it along with his team.
His associates Santosh Kumar Nayak, Bulu Mohanty, Jitendra, Pramod Biswal, Maheshwar, Kenny Kawasi and Vishbar Patnaik also contributed to this sand art.
Sudarshan Patnaik's team created a 55 feet long, 35 feet wide, 23 feet high sand sculpture. Lord Ram is coming to his Ayodhya after 500 years, and 500 miniature creations of the Ram temple have also been made.
