Lease Cancellation Of Rampur Public School: Allahabad High Court To Pronounce Verdict Today

Prayagraj, March 18 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) will pronounce its verdict on the land lease case against former Uttar Pradesh minister and senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mohd Azam Khan today. The decision will be given in the case of cancellation of the lease of Jauhar Trust by the government, after the hearing on the petition of the trust, Allahabad High Court reserved the decision on December 18, 2023.

The court had reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of both the parties. Maulana Mohammad Johar University Trust has challenged the UP government's decision to cancel the lease in the Allahabad High Court. In the writ petition of the University Trust, the lease deed related to the university has been cancelled. The Uttar Pradesh government's move to confiscate the land was challenged.
