Lucknow Administration Cracks Whip On Schools, Seeks Details Of Fees Return Of Covid period As Ordered By Allahabad HC
Lucknow, April 28 (TNA) Two days after the Noida district administration cracked whip on errant schools who have not returned 15% school fees to parents charged during the Covid period, as ordered by the Allahabad High Court (HC), Lucknow has followed suite and has served a notice to all schools in the state capital to submit a report on the same.
As per information, to ensure compliance of the HC directive, in a letter dated April 27, 2023 (927-28), District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Rakesh Kumar has sought information, by closing hours of Friday, on the number of regsitered students during 2021-22 class wise, details and number of students whose fees was returned, their names and complete details of the fee refund.
The education department officials has also sought to know fees of how many students was adjusted against the school fees of the next session, if any and details of all the students. The DIoS has also asked for details of students whose fees has not been returned. The Noida authorities had recently slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh each on fifty such errant schools.
