Lucknow Metro To Organise Two-Day Mother’s Day Carnival At Hazratganj Metro Station

Lucknow, May 12 (TNA) The Lucknow Metro is organizing a 2-day ‘Mother’s Day Carnival’ at the Hazratganj Metro Station from 13th to 14th May 2023, an official said on Friday. Small and Medium scale entrepreneurs associated with the self-help groups and NGO’s will set up 10 stalls. In these stalls handmade products will be promoted and kept for sale.

The products comprising jute bags, artificial jewellery, home decors etc will be displayed for sale in the exhibition. This two day exhibition will start at 11:00 am and conclude by 08:00 PM in the evening.

Besides this, 14th May 2023(Sunday) will be celebrated as the ‘Mother’s Day’. The women entrepreneurs displaying their products at the stalls will be honoured with the mementoes. A dance group named ‘Shistsmriti’ founded by Pranika Bhatt will also give ‘Kathak’ dance performance at the station at 11:30 AM.

Sushil Kumar, Managing Director, UPMRC said that UPMRC has been organizing carnival in the past at different occasions. At Lucknow Metro, we offer various opportunities to small traders and provide them a platform to promote their businesses. Mother’s Day being such special occasion and to honour the spirit of motherhood all over the world, we have planned a two day exhibition and a dance performance.

On 14th May 2023, these budding mother entrepreneurs will be honoured for their productive role in the society. All mothers in this world are excellent managers. I salute their willpower which constantly motivates them to achieve their goals. Lucknow Metro will keep on supporting these women entrepreneurs for their positive endeavours directed towards accomplishing new heights.
