Mafia Don Babloo Srivastava Brought To Prayagraj, To Be Produced In Court Today

Prayagraj, October 16 (TNA) Jailed mafia don Babloo Srivastava will be produced before the district court sometime today. He was brought under tight security from Bareilly jail to Prayagraj late on Sunday. He has been put up in the Naini jail in watertight security and 24x7 observation.

Uncofirmed reports suggest that arrangements have been made to keep him in a special barrack in Naini. Besides, a special police team has also been constituted to bring him from Naini jail to the court. Srivastava is the prime accused in the businessman Pankaj Mahindra kidnapping case.

The mafia is to be presented in the district court today as he could not appear during the last hearing. He had requested for appearance through video conferencing through his advocate, but the court had rejected his application and issued an order for personal appearance.

He had presented an application in the court through his lawyer asking for permission to appear through video conferencing. The court had rejected his application and ordered him to appear in the next hearing on October 16.
