Mahant Narendra Giri Death: A SP Leader, Police Officer Who Negotiated A Patch Up Now On Police Radar!
Prayagraj, Sep 22 (TNA) As the investigation in the mysterious death of Akhada Parishad chief late Mahant Narendra Giri gathers pace, the police team is reportedly probing the role of a police officer and a leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the patch up done at their behest between Giri and his disciple Anand Giri.
After a bitter parting, the two had come together on Guru Purnima after Anand Giri apologised to the Akhada Parishad chief. According to sources, now that the Additional SP and the SP leader are on the radar for negotiating between guru-disciple, they can be called for interrogate.
The late seer has mentioned Anand Giri in his eight-page suicide note as one responsible for his mental torture and also for taking this extreme step.
For interrogation of Additional SP Om Prakash Pandey and SP leader and former minister of state Indu Prakash Mishra, who played an important role in negotiating with police Anand Giri in the case of death of Mahant Narendra Giri, president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the probe team is readying summons, it is reported.
It is said that during the patch up, three people were also present along with the Giri's. These included BJP leader Sushil Mishra, SP leader and former Minister of State Indu Prakash Mishra and OP Pandey, who is currently posted as Additional Superintendent of Police in Moradabad, were also present.
