Mainpuri Girl Student’s Death Case: Allahabad HC Asks Why Has The Head Mistress Not Been Questioned?
Prayagraj, Dec 2 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) on Thursday again made stinging observations in the death case of a girl student at a Mainpuri school. The court said that while the woman who lost her daughter was being questioned, the head mistress of the school where this happened has not been grilled by the cops.
The mother is questioned for hours. If the polygraph test is to be done, then the headmistress should also be done along with the mother, the HC observed.
A division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Piyush Agrawal, hearing the petition of Mahendra Pratap Singh, observed that the photograph filed at the time of Panchnama shows injury marks on the hand, while the post-mortem report does not mention these injuries. The next hearing of the petition will be on December 16.
