Man Kills Sister-in-Law In Auraiyya Over Property Dispute

Auraiyya, Nov 21 (TNA) A man late on Sunday killed his sister-in-law lying on the cot by stabbing her with a knife over property dispute in Auraiya district. Seeing the brother-in-law coming out of the house with a blood-stained knife, the villagers informed the woman's husband.

Inside the house, the dead body of the woman was lying soaked in blood. There were injury marks on the woman's stomach, neck and hands.

Vijay Singh, husband of Guddan Devi alias Gudiya Diwakar (40), a resident of Poorva Pitaram village in Bidhuna area, died two years ago due to illness.

After the death of her husband, Gudiya got married a year ago to Ramprakash, the cousin of Vijay, a resident of the village. Vijay's brother Bhura was unhappy with the marriage. Also, Bhura used to have frequent quarrels with his brother and sister-in-law over the registration of a bigha land in the name of Gudiya.
