Man Kills Wife, Son In Hardoi Then Hangs Himself

Hardoi, Nov 21 (TNA) Irked by frequent domestic disputes, son of a jeweller late on Saturday killed his wife and child by slitting their throats and then hung himself. When the parents came back from relatives, the incident came to light. The incident took place in Harpalpur town.

There is a gold and silver shop in the town of Sudhir Kumar of village Khasaura in Harpalpur area. The younger of the two sons studies in Lucknow, while the elder son Anoop Kumar lived with his parents with his wife Deepa and four-year-old daughter Bitto. As Sudhir Kumar told that Anoop Kumar used to sit with him at the shop itself.

Deepa wanted to live separately with her child and husband, for this a panchayat was also held, but Anoop Kumar did not want to separate and there used to be a dispute between the two regarding the same. Sudhir Kumar told that his daughter Ruby's relative had passed away, due to which he along with his wife Kanti went to the daughter's in-laws Gursahaiganj. Anoop, his wife Deepa and daughter Bitto were at home.

When they came back home on Saturday evening and opened the door, they saw Deepa's body lying on the bed in the verandah, Bitto's body was lying on the cot in a nearby room. Both had their throats slit and Anoop Kumar was hanging in the room itself. There was also a knife lying there.
