Man Murders Wife In Prayagraj On Suspicion Of Her Having An Illicit Affair

Prayagraj, October 30 (TNA) A man murdered his wife in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday in suspicion of her having an illicit affair. The crime was committed in Daraganj, police said.

Bal Shyam Yadav, a resident of Kutchi road, killed his wife Rashmi Yadav. At first, both of them got into an argument and in a fit of rage, wrestler Bal Shyam Yadav piled up Rashmi Yadav by hitting him with an iron rod kept in the flour mill. She died on the spot due to severe head injury.

Yadav runs a flour mill shop and there are many tenants in the house. There used to be discord in the family every day, neighbours told the police.

SO Daraganj Dharmendra Dubey said that the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. The investigation into the reasons for the murder is underway.
