Man Wanted In The Killing Of Cricketer Suresh Raina's Uncle Arrested In Bareilly
Lucknow, July 18 (TNA) In a major success, the Social Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday arrested Chajju Chaimar, a dreaded criminal of western UP.
According to officials of the elite anti-organised crime force, the criminal was wanted in a dacoity case conducted in the house of an uncle of Suresh Raina, the former Indian cricketer.
The dacoity took place in the intervening night of August 19-20 last year. On the intervening night of August 19 and 20, Ashok Kumar died while four members of the family were injured during a robbery at their house at Thariyal village in Pathankot district of Punjab.
The accused Chaimar aka Babu was arrested from the Bahedi area of Bareilly in a joint operations of the Punjab Police and the STF of UP Police.
