Manish Sisodia Brings Battle To Yogi's Turf, Shares Video of 'School-In-Shambles'

Lucknow, December 22 (TNA) Stung by the criticism heaped on the Delhi government schools some days back by UP minister Siddharth Nath Singh, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia took the battle to Lucknow on Tuesday and dared the state government to debate with him on the topic.

But while huge crowds of over zealous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers greeted and welcomed Sisodia, as he was on his way to visit a school in Utretiya, Sarojini Nagar in the state capital, the police prevented him and blocked his cavalcade, his party leaders said.

Not to be outdone by the cops, some AAP workers and volunteers managed to sneak into the school in Ibrahimpur ward, some eight km from the office of the monk-turned-chief minister. And a video was recorded there that showed the poor state of the schools, the building in shambles.

Sisodia later tweeted the video and said that "Yogi ji I will continue to show the truth of UP schools...for now your police has blocked my visit to a school but I am sharing this clip for you to see, a school eight km from your office!"
