Marriage Turns Into Gloom As Man Kills Five Including Newly Weds In Mainpuri, Shoots Himself Too

Mainpuri, June 24 (TNA) In Gokulpur village of Kishni police station area of Mainpuri, five people sleeping in the house were hacked to death. After the murder, the accused also shot himself. Police has since reached the spot.

According to preliminary information, Shivveer Singh, a resident of the village, had hacked his two brothers, brother-in-law, brother's newly wedded wife and friend to death.

The dead bodies have been sent for postmortem. The police is probing the reason why the murder was carried out. According to the information received, Subhash Chandra Yadav, a resident of village Gokulpur Arsara, had three sons Shivveer, Sonu and Bhullan. On Friday, the marriage procession of the middle son Sonu (20) had returned from village Gangapur in Choubiya area of Etawah police station.

There was an atmosphere of happiness in the house due to the arrival of new daughter-in-law Soni (20). Everyone was singing and dancing by playing DJ till one o'clock on Friday night. In the night, Shivveer mixed some intoxicating tablet in the cold drink and gave it to everyone. After everyone fell unconscious, Shivveer killed brother Bhullan (20), brother-in-law Saurabh resident Chanda Havilia (26), brother's friend Deepak (20) Firozabad, who was sleeping in the courtyard from Banke.

After this, Sonu (22) and newly married Soni, who were sleeping on the terrace, were killed by slitting their throats with a sharp-edged weapon. Father Subhash, wife and maternal aunt of the accused were seriously injured in the attack. After committing five murders, Shivveer went some distance away from home and committed suicide by shooting himself.
