Mathura Police Nab Prime Accused In Rs 1.5 Crore Robbery After A Gun Battle

Mathura, Sep 4 (TNA) The operation of the Mathura Police against criminals continues and the latest casualty is a hardened criminal - Arvind, who carried a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head. He is the prime accused in a daring loot of a bullion trader where in he along with his accomplices had robbed Rs 1.5 crore on August 16.

Police had since bene in hot pursuit of the criminal and late on Friday, he along with three of his associates were intercepted and after a brief gun battle, they were arrested. Arvind sustained a bullet injury and is being treated at a medical facility. The police has also recovered Rs 45 lakh from him.
