Meteorological Department Issues Warning Of Severe Heatwave Till June 10, Will Rain Thereafter

Lucknow, June 8 (TNA) While most aprt of the month of May passed off with not an intense wave, the Met department has warned of a severe heat wave across Uttar Pradesh for the next few days. June 10 to be specific. However, relief from it is likely from Sunday when rains are expected.

The weather has turned dry and the temperature has started rising as the Western Disturbance has become inactive. Signs of mercury rising started appearing on Wednesday.

The day temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature also increased by about two degrees Celsius. The mercury can cross 45 degrees Celsius.
