Miscreants Rob Rs 1.5 Crore At Gun Point From Businessman In Mathura

Mathura, August 16 (TNA) A businessman in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday was robbed by bike-riding criminals of Rs 1.5 crore. He was on his way to deposit the money in a bank when the miscreants intercepted him and decamped with the money.

The incident happened a few steps from the police post. Police say they are looking at the CCTV footage of places around the scene of the crime and hope to crack the case soon.

The businessman had reached Chowki Bagh Bahadur, the main branch of State Bank of India, by Scooty to deposit money.

Ankit, resident Ganapati Enclave said that some masked miscreants on bikes stopped him by showing a pistol, beat him up and snatched the bag full of money. The incident took place near Shiv Mandir in front of Brajwasi Hotel, a few steps away from the police station.
