Miscreants Fire And Injure A Police Constable On Night Patrol In Lakhimpur Kheri

Lakhimpur Kheri, April 25 (TNA) Miscreants shot a UP Police constable in Kotwali Magalganj police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri late on Monday night, police said on Tuesday. The Constable was in serious condition after sustaining the gunshot. seriously injured in firing by the criminals. The injured cop has been rushed to the state capital Lucknow for treatment.

The miscreants shot the constable while he was on a night patrol duty. During patrolling in the Magalganj police station area, the constable caught these miscreants trying to climb a house at Lidhiya turn. When noticed the criminals opened fire on him in a bid escape. Police has since launched a manhunt to nab these criminals.
