Mohd Azam Khan Suffers Heart Attack, Stable After Angioplasty At Sir Ganga Ram Hospital

Lucknow/New Delhi, Sep 14 (TNA) Former Uttar Pradesh minister and senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mohd Azam Khan has been operated after he suffered a heart attack on Tuesday. The surgical procedure was conducted at the Sir Ganga Ram hospital in New Delhi.

A stent has been put in his heart after a 100% blockage was discovered in one of the arteries. On Tuesday, when he complained of unease, heart burn and nausea he was rushed to the hospital where doctors inferred that he had suffered a heart attack after which an angioplasty was conducted.

In the investigation, a blockage was found in a vein of his heart. On Tuesday, doctors put a stunt in his heart after angioplasty. In Rampur itself, he had complained of heartburn, pain, difficulty in breathing. At present, the condition of Azam Khan is said to be stable.
