Monsoon Session Of UP State Assembly Adjourned Sine Die
LUCKNOW || The brief three-day monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh assembly was adjourned sine die on Saturday. The session called during the Coronavirus pandemic on August 20, witnessed bedlam and furore as the opposition parties accused the state's BJP government on various fronts.
On Saturday, the state government rushed through the legislative work even as opposition continued with its protests.
An official said the House had completed its entire agenda including approval of Uttar Pradesh Recovery of Damages to Public and Private Property Ordinance, 2020, Cow-Slaughter Prevention (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 and Uttar Pradesh Public Health and Epidemic Control Ordinance, 2020 and several other bills, amid ruckus by the Opposition on different issues.
