MP-MLA Court Convicts SP Legislator Vijma Yadav For Arson, Attack On Police Personnel

Prayagraj, February 23 (TNA) In a big jolt to Samajwadi Party (SP) lawmaker Vijma Yadav, the MPMLA court in Prayagraj has convicted her in a 22-year-old case. The SP MLA from Pratappur assembly constituency is accused of attacking the police with help and abbetment of her supporters in 2001.

31 policemen were injured in the ruckus in Sahson of Sarai Inayat. She has been convicted of arson, sabotage, road blockade and assault on police team.
