Mulayam Remains Critical, Modi-Yogi Dial Akhilesh To Enquire About His Health

Lucknow/Gurugram, Oct 3 (TNA) Condition of Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav remains to be critical with the veteran politician having serious issues with his breathing. He has infection of the chest and one of his kidneys is also not functioning well, a source informed. The three-time UP chief minister was shifted to the ICU after a slip in his condition on Sunday evening.

His son and party chief Akhilesh Yadav, wife Dimple, brothers Shivpal Singh Yadav and Ram Gopal were by his bedside as the news of his failing health spread. The party on its official Twitter handle however claimed that the condition of the party patriarch was serious but stable. Former MP and his nephew Dharmendra Yadav spent the night at the Medanta hospital, looking after him.

Yadav’s health has taken a beating ever since his wife Sadhna died in July this year and he has been in and out of the hospital. Prime minister Narendra Modi, defence minister Rajnath Singh, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are among the top leaders who telephoned Akhilesh Yadav to enquire about the health of Mulayam. Many leader including Brajesh Pathak have sent out get well soon messages as well.

Prayers and special puja's are bing done in temples at various places by SP workers for speedy recovery of the veteran party leader.
