Student Knifed In AMU Over NEET Seat, Critical

Aligarh, June 27 (TNA) A student was attacked with a knife late Sunday over a NEET seat of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He has been rushed to a medical facility where his condition is stated to be critical, police said.

Suhail was studying in the Maulana Azad Library when a domineering youth named Anwar came and threatened Suhail and asked him to vacate the seat, which Suhail curtly refused.

The accused threatened to kill Suhail and left in a huff from there. But when Suhail came out of the library, Anwar attacked him with a knife. Suhail has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Police has been informed and efforts are underway to arrest the assailant.
