Noida Police Issue Traffic Advisory For Independence Day Rush In Delhi-NCR

Noida, August 12 (TNA) Noida Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory ahead of Independence Day programs in Delhi and nearby areas to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the celebrations. The advisory, prompted by security considerations, outlines restrictions on the entry of heavy, medium, and light commercial vehicles into the national capital.

From 10 pm on August 12 to the conclusion of full dress Independence Day rehearsal on August 13, and again from 10 pm on August 14 to the conclusion of celebrations on August 15, these vehicles will not be permitted to enter Delhi.

To help commuters, Noida Police has suggested alternative routes:

1. Vehicles traveling to Delhi or other states via the national capital from Noida's Chilla Border can take the Eastern Peripheral Expressway through Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, making a U-turn at Chilla Red Light.

2. Vehicles using the Delhi-Noida-Delhi (DND) flyover can take a U-turn from the toll plaza and access the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

3. Vehicles en route to Delhi or other states via the national capital from Kalindi Kunj-Yamuna border will be diverted before the Yamuna River underpass. They can then proceed through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
