Notorious Criminal Monu Chowdhary Killed In Encounter With Police In Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, June 2 (TNA) Notorious, prized criminal Monu Chowdhary alias Vishal was killed in a police encounter in Ghaziabad on Friday. According to the information, Monu Chowdhary was killed in cross firing at Muradnagar police station at around 3.30 pm. Monu Chaudhary was resident of Ukhlarsi Muradnagar, Ghaziabad.

The police had declared a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head. He was wanted in two murder cases that took place in the last two months. A total of 12 cases including murder, robbery, extortion, gangster are registered against him.

Recently, the Ghaziabad police attached assets worth Rs 29 crore of his gang members under the Gangster Act. Two police personnel were also injured in the incident of firing from both the sides.
