Notorious Gangster Anil Dujana Killed In Encounter With UP STF In Meerut
Lucknow, May 4 (TNA) UP's infamous gangster Anil Dujana alias Anil Nagar who was resident of village Dujana falling udner polcie station Badalpur in Noida was killed in an encounter with the Special Task Force (STF) of the UP Police. Dujana, awas one of the biggest names in the badlands of western Uttar Pradesh and had walked out of the Tihar jail only a few days ago.
He had more than 60 cases against his name. According to information available, the gangster was killed in a gun battle with the sleuths of the UP STF in Bhola's Jhal of Jani police station area of Meerut. Bulandshahr police had kept a reward of Rs 25,000 and Noida police had kept a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head.
Of the cases against him, most were of murder, extortion, extortion etc even in other states than UP. His name figured in the list of top 65 mafias of UP released by the Uttar Pradesh government in the aftermath of the in-camera murders of don brothers Atique Ahmed and Ashraf.
Anil Dujana was commanding the Naresh Bhati gang. His end came on a day when the STF was celebrating its 25th foundation day.
STF was formed in 1998, by the then Kalyan Singh government and was spearheaded by IPS Vikram Singh who was its IG. From a humble and small team of few, the STF has, over the years, seasoned into a succesful anti-mafiosi team of the Uttar Pradesh Police and has liquidated some big names of the crime world.
