Notorious Mafia Khan Mubarak Dies In Hardoi Prison, Was In Top Ten Mafia List Of UP

Hardoi, June 12 (TNA) Notorious mafia Khan Mubarak passed away in the district jail after a bout of illness, officials said on Monday. He was rushed to the district hospital in critical condition after he developed pneumonia but could not be saved. Khan Mubarak had hit headlines after shooting the umpire during a cricket match.

Mubarak was one of the top ten mafia’s in the state and was said to have amassed a huge empire from his ill-gotten money derived out of extortion etc. He was resident of Harsamhar village under Hanswar police station area of the district. About three dozen cases were registered against him in several districts.

He was mainly involved in crimes like extortion and was also involved in many murder cases. The police had confiscated his property worth crores under the Gangster Act. His elder brother Khan Zafar Supari has been associated with Mumbai's D gang.
