Olympian Hockey Player Ali Saeed Passes Away In Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, December 20 (TNA) SM Ali Saeed, a strong pillar of the country's hockey, and an important member of the team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics passed away in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. He was considered the best left winger forward.

Ali Saeed was the only player from the district to win a medal in the Olympics. He was 82 and had been ailing for a long time.
