OP Rajbhar Meets Vikassheel Party Chief Mukesh Sahani

Prayagraj, Sep 18 (TNA) In a significant political development ahead of the state assembly polls slated for early next year, SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Saturday met Mukesh Sahani, head of the Vikassheel Insaan Party in Prayagraj.

The two leaders, sources said, discussed among other issues, the possibility of the two sides coming together for the UP state assembly polls 2022. Mukesh Sahani is currently serving as the Minister for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries in Bihar and is the founder of the Vikassheel Insaan Party.

Rajbhar, a former BJP ally and also a minister in the Yogi Adityanath government, ever since he parted ways with the saffron camp, has been trying to stitch up an alliance of opposition parties.

Rajbhar is also scheduled to meet AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi later in the day. Owaisi has said that his party will, this time, contest 100 seats in UP.
