Lucknow, January 1 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary has given instructions to organize Ram Sankirtan in every temple from 16 to 22 January and to organize Deepotsav in every ghat and temple on the evening of 22 January and thereafter organise fireworks after the Deepotsav at Saryu Ghat in Ayodhya.

Liquor shops will remain closed across the state on January 22, the day of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. At the same time, the Department of Basic, Secondary and Higher Education has declared a public holiday in all educational institutions. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has issued guidelines for general arrangements, security arrangements and arrangements for guests on the day of Pran Pratistha.

The Chief Secretary also directed to show live telecast of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony by installing screens in temples and to run cleanliness campaigns in all urban and rural areas from 14 to 21 January. Decoration and lighting arrangements will be made in all the offices from 22nd to 26th January.

Instructions to build a primary hospital with 10 beds in each tent city and to make arrangements for accommodation in Acharya Narendra Dev University and hostel for the doctors coming from outside. All the routes coming from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi to Ayodhya are also been declared as green corridors. Hoardings of Chaupai of Ramcharit Manas will also be put up on these routes.

The Chief Secretary has given instructions not to carry out construction work in private buildings in Ayodhya from January 18. He has given instructions to remove construction debris from the roads and make strict arrangements for cleanliness at every place in Ayodhya and surrounding areas.
