Owing To Covid And Cold, School Vacations In UP Extended Till January 23

Lucknow, January 15 (TNA) Due to the increasing corona cases in the state and the intense cold wave, the Uttar Pradesh government has extended school holidays of all government and private schools till January 23. According to additional chief secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal, this comes into inmmediate effect.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier ordered the closure of all schools till January 16. Now they have been closed for another week. Vaccinations are being done to children beteen the age group of 15-18 years at many places.
