Oxygen Cylinder Explodes In Bulandshahr Home, Six Of A Family Dead

Bulandshahr, October 22 (TNA) A two-storey house collapsed due to an explosion of an oxygen cylinder in Ashapuri Colony of Secunderabad town of Bulandshahr on Monday night, due to which 26 members of the family were buried under the debris. Six people including the head of the family, his wife, daughter and two sons died in the accident.

Two persons have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The fire brigade and SDRF personnel were engaged in removing 17 people buried under the debris till early in the morning at the time of filing this report. The DM said that 10 members of the family buried under the debris are completely safe. Rajuddin lives in Ashapuri Colony located on Gulavathi Road.

Rajuddin works as a shuttering worker. It is being said that Rajuddin's wife Rukhsana was unwell, due to which she was admitted to a private hospital. She was shifted home from the hospital on Monday evening. After bringing her home, Rukhsana started having trouble breathing, due to which the process of giving oxygen was started at home.

While putting the cylinder in, suddenly the cylinder exploded. Due to this, the entire two-storey house collapsed. In the accident, along with Rajuddin, his wife, son Siraj, Shahrukh, Sohna, Asmohammad and Salman, daughter-in-law Chandni, Nasreen, Yasmin, Anjum along with five of Siraj, three of Shahrukh, three of Asmohammad, two of Sohna, daughter Tamanna and her two children were also buried.
