Partial Corona Curfew In Entire UP To Be Lifted From Tomorrow, Weekend Shut Down To Continue
Lucknow, June 8 (TNA) The partial Corona curfew in the state clamped in May will be lifted across Uttar Pradesh from Wednesday, a state government spokesman said on Tuesday.
With the active caseload getting below 600 in Lucknow, Meerut and Gorakhpur, these last districts have also been opened up now, he added.
The markets will now open between 7 am to 7 pm and the weekend curfew - Saturday and Sunday will however continue as at present. In the past 24-hours, the state has reported 797 cases in total.
The number of active cases in UP now stands at 14,000. The positivity rate has dropped to 0.2% while the recovery rate has jumped to 97.9%.
