Petition Seeking CBI Probe Into The Death Of Bhojpuri Actress Akansha Dubey Filed In Allahabad High Court

Prayagraj, Oct 5 (TNA) A petition has been filed in the Allahabad High Court (HC) seeking a CBI probe into the suspiciopus death of Bhojpuri actress Akansha Dubey in a Varanasi hotel.

The plea has been made by Madhu Dubey, mother of the deceased. It has been mentioned in the petition that it was feared that the actress was raped before being killed.

The suspicious conditions in which Akansha was found demand that a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CI) be ordered by the HC, the petitioner has said. The petition has also cast aspersions on the police investigation into the whole case.

It has also been alleged that some vital evidences have also been either destroyed or hidden by the police. A division bench of the HC will hear the petition next week.

Bhojpuri actor Akanksha Dubey allegedly died by suicide in MArch this year. She was found in her hotel room in Sarnath area, Varanasi. According to reports, she was shooting a film in Varanasi.

Akanksha, who was born on October 21, 1997, began her career on TikTok and Instagram. Her acting and dance videos were a hit among her fans.
