PFI Agent Conspiring To Incite Violence In Hathras Arrested From Kerala
Lucknow, March 4 (TNA) The UP STF has arrested PFI agent Kamal KP from Kerala, accused of conspiring to spread riots in a planned manner under the guise of Hathras incident. STF will present him in the court and interrogate him on transit remand. An FIR has been registered in Mathura in this case against Kamal KP with a reward of Rs 25,000.
According to the UP STF, Kamal KP, an active member of the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) with a reward of Rs 25,000, was arrested in Mallapuram, Kerala on Friday. Kamal KP supported the banned PFI organization on October 5, 2020 with the aim of inciting violent riots in Uttar Pradesh under the guise of the incident in Hathras.
Atiqur Rahman, Alam, Siddiq Kappan and Masood were arrested at Toll Plaza Maat Mathura while going to district Hathras. Kamal KP's name came to the fore in the information received from him. Since then the Noida unit of UP STF was looking for him.
Kamal's name came in the voice notice. UP STF had received a voice note from the analysis of electronic data obtained from the accused Siddiq Kappan during the investigation. It was sent to Kamal KP in September 2020. In which there was talk of organizing a secret meeting in Kerala using code language.
Along with this, Kamal KP was also asked to delete this voice note by Siddique Kappan. Accused Rauf Sharif, Ansad Badruddin, Siddiq Kappan along with accused Kamal KP also participated in this secret meeting.
In this meeting, a plan was made to incite riots in UP as soon as there was an opportunity. After which UP STF was looking for it.
