Police Inspector Posted In Prayagraj Killed In A Road Accident In Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh, January 7 (TNA) In a tragic incident on Saturday morning, an inspector with the Uttar Pradesh Police was killed in a road accident in Pratapgarh. Inspector Amar Singh Raghuvanshi was posted as Inspector in charge of City Kotwali in Prayagraj. The accident happened in Kalyanpur area of Antu police station area of Pratapgarh.

According to information available the inspector's car collided with a speeding truck. Raghuvanshi was going to Rae Bareli to collect evidence for a case. Inspector Amar Singh was counted as a firebrand officer of the force. He hailed from Amethi district of UP.
